One of the ways that we worship God is through giving back a portion of the money He provides to us.

When we give back to the Lord we are demonstrating our dependence on God and we acknowledge that God is our provider. Jesus talks about money more than any other topic, because it is really easy for us to fall into the trap of worshipping money instead of worshipping God. One of the best ways to make sure our money does not take the place of God is to be a cheerful giver. The Bible teaches that we are to give our tithes (10% of our income) and our offerings which goes beyond the tithe. Each follower of Jesus needs to seek God in prayer and to be willing to give whatever God leads he/she to give.

Since giving is such an important part of our worship of God we have provided three different opportunities for you to worship through giving. 

Giving Options at Providence


Cash/Check 

Drop your cash or check in the offering box on Sunday morning or mail your check to Providence.


Bill Pay Service 

Contact your bank to set up your tithe to Providence through your bank’s online bill payment service. 


Online giving (NEW)

Planning Center is an integrated software program to which Providence subscribes to manage various church operations, which now includes online giving.  You can set up a one-time payment or recurring payment using electronic funds transfer through your checking account or your credit card.  Checking transactions will incur a fee of $0.25 per transaction.  Credit card transactions will incur a fee of 2.15% + $0.30 per transaction.  You will have the choice to pay the transaction fees.  Processing time for credit card payments is 3-5 business days and 7-10 business days for checking transactions.  The three online giving options are:


ONLINE GIVING THROUGH THE WEBSITE (ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER AND CREDIT CARDS)

From the Online Giving link HERE, you can give once or set up your giving to be recurring.  It is best to create a Planning Center login/account so you can readily access your giving profile anytime.

ONLINE GIVING THROUGH A MOBILE APP

Church Center Mobile App (Electronic Funds Transfer and Credit Cards)

You can also give through the Church Center mobile app. On your mobile device, download the Church Center app. 

  • Step 1: Find Providence Baptist Church. 

  • Step 2: You can log in and access your Planning Center account here too.

  • Step 3: At the bottom of the screen, you can access the Giving feature.

  • Step 4: Here, you can enter the amount and payment method and complete your giving transaction.



ONLINE GIVING THROUGH TEXT MESSAGE (ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER AND CREDIT CARDS)

Text the amount you wish to give to 84321.  You will then receive a text to finish your request.  Select Providence.  Enter your information.  If you already have a Planning Center profile, login, select your payment method, and follow the prompts.
