We are so excited that you’re considering visiting with us. Whether you’re new to church or you’ve been attending church your whole life, you have a place at Providence. Please read the following frequently asked questions and we can’t wait to see you soon.

What time does your service start?

We have Sunday morning Bible studies for all ages that start at 9 am. Our worship service is at 10:15 am. 

What should I wear?

You will see a variety of dress on Sunday morning from jeans and a t-shirt to a coat and tie. Please feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable. 

What do I do when I arrive to campus?

When you pull up the hill you will see Visitor Parking spots to your left. Please park and enter into the South Doorway “main entrance” up the stairs. You will be greeted by one of our greeters who will be able to direct you and answer any questions that you may have. 

What is the atmosphere like?

At Providence we want you to feel like you are a part of our family. We know that Sunday mornings can be a difficult time to get the kids together and get out the door on time, but once you come into our doors we will treat you like family. You will see many families with young children as well as many grandparents who love kids. We strive to do many family oriented events throughout the year such as: Date Nights, Parenting Classes, Vacation Bible School, and 4th of July Bash, just to name a few.

MID-WEEK STUDIES

Wednesday | 10:00 am: Women’s Bible Study at the church.

Wednesday | 6:30 pm: Men’s Weekly Bible Study (This is seasonal, check our Calendar to see if we are meeting)

Thursday | 6:00 pm: AWANA & youth (AWANA only meets during the school year)

Community Groups

These Community Groups meet in homes and at the church with a focus on prayer, caring, and fellowship. If you are interested in joining a Community Group or would like more information, please email office@pbckansascity.org

291 from Liberty

Drive north on 291 until you get to Stark Avenue (Stark is one mile south of 435). Take a right on Stark and drive approximately 2 miles. The church will be on your left. 

92 HWY from Kearney

Drive west on 92 HWY until you come to Stark Avenue. Take a left on Stark and drive approximately 4 miles and the church will be on your right. 

92 HWY from Smithville

Drive east on 92 HWY until you come to Stark Avenue. Take a right on Stark and drive approximately 4 miles and the church will be on your right.
