PBC Kids Worship

Thursdays from 6:30pm - 8:00 pm | 1st-5th Grade
Starting October 9th, 2025

What is PBC Kids Worship?

Using the engaging KidsCore Worship curriculum, children will dive into biblical devotions, music theory, fun activities, and timeless songs of the faith. Each month, kids will learn a hymn or modern worship song (like In Christ Alone or Christ is Mine Forevermore), study the Scriptures that inspired it, and prepare to lead it in congregational worship.

Our goal is simple but powerful: to equip the next generation to be active, informed worshipers of Jesus Christ.

PBC Kids Worship…

Prepares participants to participate in gathered worship.

The songs we will be learning are songs that are sung during our corporate worship services. This way, we emphasize performance less and congregational participation more. When children learn these songs as songs that are meant for them to sing, they also become excited to sing them together with the church in worship. We can’t wait to see kids perk up during worship gatherings whenever we sing a song that they know.

Teaches kids songs that are worth singing.

We celebrate songs that we think will stand the test of time. We use older timeless hymns like “Holy, Holy, Holy” and “Nothing but the Blood,” and we also use newer songs like “In Christ Alone” and “Christ Is Mine Forevermore.” We love hearing children sing these great songs of the faith!

Helps kids grow in the word of God.

We are careful to select songs that are rich with scripture. And it’s this biblical content that inspires the devotion topics each week. Each lesson contain exegetically sound teaching – but also make certain that it is accessible for children. Along the way, your child will learn principles of worship theology, learning truth from Scripture about who God is and what He has done – and how to respond to that truth in worship.

Raises up future musicians.

The music principles taught each week serve the children as future worshiping musicians. Each week we will learn a new basic music theory principle such as reading notes on the music staff, note value, dynamics, and so much more!

We will begin on October 9th. Please register your child by clicking the button below.

We hope to see you there!
